As a premium accommodation provider, iQ welcomes a lot of international students, with the majority coming from China and India.
Choosing a student home from another country can be a gamble. Most students won't step foot in the building they'll call home until they come to collect their keys, so what they see online needs to really reassure.
It's such a big decision that trust is the deciding factor over any cleverness or virality, and it's exactly why so many internationals rely on agents to help them make their decisions. Agents feel real, professional room pics on a website do not.
Instead of crafting words of reassurance, I found them instead. No amount of clever copy would be convincing, but another student's word would. Genuine testimonials, similar backgrounds, each selling "best" in their own words. Stats reinforced the power of our headline testimonials, giving students concrete reassurance when making their decision.
